Community Lifter

	The Novis Community Lifter is ideally suited for home and residential facility use. The specially designed aluminium frame makes this lifting device both lightweight and durable.
Components can be easily disconnected for transport in a car boot or easy storage. Suitable for a maximum patient weight of 155kg.

The Etac Turner Transfer Aid The Etac Turner Transfer Aid is a practical aid which actively assists the client when transferring them from one seated position to another. It offers security for the assisted person and will not strain the caregiver’s back when transferring the client from the bed to the wheelchair. With the Turner Transfer Aid, the assisted person can control their own movements, helping them to feel calmer and more secure. It reduces the risk of falling, and it allows the caregiver to work in an ergonomically correct manner. The height of the handle and the lower leg support are adjustable. The Turner Transfer Aid is easy to retrieve or push out of the way when not in use. Tilting it on its castors makes it run smoothly on any surface. The straight post provides more room for the client. It is also easy to disassemble for transport and storage. The Etac Turner Transfer Aid should only be used for persons who have enough stability in the legs to stand with support. Maximum user weight: 150 kg

Etac Transfer Aids - Glide Boards

The different models of Etac Transfer Aids are used in many situations, for instance between wheelchair, power wheelchair, bed, bathing chair, car, etc. The transfer boards are used for levelling out height differences and for bridging short distances, while their smooth top surfaces make them easy to move on. The different boards and features provide adaptation for both caregiver-assisted transfers and self-propelled transfers depending on the client's capabilities, and can be used both in institutions and at home. Combine Etac Transfer Board with Etac Pediturn to support a smooth transition of the legs and feet without turning or straining the knees and ankles, or with the Etac Support Belt during caregiver-assisted transfers for better control, more ergonomic grip and correct positioning of the client.

Etac Dolphin Transfer Board The Dolphin transfer board is used when moving between the toilet, wheelchair, bathing chair, or similar. The smooth fiberglass top-side allows easy transfer by sliding into position. The specific design means that the board can remain in place while using the toilet, thus avoiding the risk of incidents when removing the transfer board. The non-slip surface on the underside prevents the board from sliding out of position.

Etac E-Board The E-board is used in many different transfer situations between wheelchair, bed, bathing chair, car seat, etc. It is made of a strong polyethylene material with flexible side wings and is therefore easy to place in front of the wheelchair’s wheel, thus protecting the client from becoming soiled. A smooth top-side allows easy sliding transfer, while the non-slip surface on the underside prevents the board from sliding out of position.

Etac Butterfly Glide Board

The Butterfly glide board is designed for transfer between wheelchair, bed,
bathing chair, car seat, etc. It is designed with special cut outs to better fit and
position to the wheelchair’s wheels while the non-slip areas on the underside
prevent the board from sliding out of position. The smooth surface allows easy
sliding transfers across the board. The Butterfly board can also be used with the
additional Butterfly glide wings, which are attached to the board by Velcro straps,
providing a further low-friction surface between the person and the board.

Etac Easyturn Easyturn is a soft swivel cushion that facilitates transferring in out of the car, a solution suitable for a handicapped, temporarily physically disabled or even a fully mobile person. The swivel function of Easyturn prevents strains on knees, hip and back. The bottom side has a non-slip surface that prevents sliding out of position.

Etac Support Belt The Support Belt is used when the client is being supported to and from a standing position from a wheelchair, chair, armchair, bed, etc. It is also used for walking support and exercise. The specially designed locking system allows the application of the belt without twisting the back and the non-slip inner surface prevents the belt from sliding up. The handles allow for caregiver support and the diagonal position provides a more natural and ergonomic grip.

Etac HandyGrip & Bed String

The Etac HandyGrip and Bed String are suitable for clients requiring minimal assistance to
independently sit up in bed, transfer in and out of bed or from bed to wheelchair, turning to
side position, dressing, etc. The HandyGrip is attached either to the head end or side of the
bed and provides a suitable grip for the self-propelled client to be able to turn around in bed.
The Bed String is attached to the foot end of the bed and the client uses the handles to move into
position. The loop allows attachment to most types of bed frames. Maximum user weight: 150 kg.

 Etac Multiglide Glove

The Multiglide Glove is suitable for small adjustments of positioning and for smaller transfers, for instance adjustments of shoulder and hip position. It is also very suitable for control of pressure when using pressure relief cushions or mattresses. The material on the external surface minimises the friction for easy insertion of the hands underneath the patient. The compact size and light weight makes it easy to carry along.

Etac Positioning Wedge The positioning wedges are used either alone for positioning and support or together as an additional tool for the 4Way Glide System, Multiglide, Sling On, Turning Mattress, etc to secure that the client can remain in the desired lying position. The positioning wedge gives the client a comfortable support, minimises the strain for the caregiver to hold the client in a static position, and further frees the caregiver to perform other work, such as washing, etc. The non-slip cover prevents the wedges from sliding out of position, and is also easy to clean/wipe off.

Etac 2 Move Transfer Board

The 2 Move Transfer Board is specifically designed for horizontal transfer of clients between a bed, operating table, X-ray table, bath or washing table, etc.
Friction is minimised by using the 2 Move Transfer Board, differences in height can be overcome and strain on personnel is reduced. The 2 Move is easy to transport and store and the long model can be folded for storage. Using the adapted Multiglide cover increases sliding function as well as providing external protection and hygiene control.  A Disposable tube foil cover is also available for increased anti-bacterial control.

Etac One Man Sling

The One Man Sling is a unique tool used for positioning the client higher up in bed, and is
ideal for situations with only one caregiver. Using the One Man Sling requires application
of a low-friction product underneath the client’s pressure points, such as Sling On, Multiglide,
Transfer Mattress, Transfer Cushion, etc.
The loop side is attached to one side of the bed frame at the head end and the sling is placed around the
client, with the slide cushion under the buttocks. By using the handles the care giver can
slide the client to a higher position in the bed. The One Man Sling transfers the pressure
and the friction point inside the slide cushion, promoting smooth movement and
preventing shear and friction sores. Maximum user weight: 150 kg.

Etac Sling On

The Etac Sling On has been developed in order to facilitate the application of lift slings. Ideal for heavy
users, when using a pressure relieving mattress and when the client cannot be placed on
their side. It consists of two Multiglide single sheets with handles along the sides and
set together with buttons on the corners so that it doesn’t slip apart.
The Multiglide sheets minimise friction in both the application beneath and removal
from the client. Using a simple folding technique, it is placed under the client without requiring
them to turn to the side, after which the sling is inserted between the separated sheets and easily placed
into the correct position. Finally the top sheet is removed so that the lifting sling can be attached to the lift.
The Etac Sling On is also a multipurpose transfer tool, as it can be used for other transfer situations where reduced friction underneath
pressure points is required. 

Etac One Way Glide

The One Way Glide is ideal for supporting a correct sitting position and proper posture, as once placed
correctly in position it will not move forward towards the front of the chair. The unique inner
surface of the One Way Glide allows gliding in only one direction and resists sliding back in the
opposite direction. The one way sliding direction helps when there is a need for moving the client
easily and gently to a more upright position in the chair.
The One Way Glide is available in different lengths and widths for a customised fit, regardless of type
of wheelchair, chair, armchair, etc. The non-slip outer surface prevents it from sliding out of position.
