Thera-Turn Lateral Rotation Mattress Replacement System

The Thera-Turn is designed to aid in the treatment and prevention of nosocomial pneumonia, atelectasis, oedemo and pulmonary embolism amoung other respiratiry complications, typically utilised in intensive care units but can be used in all settings.

It performs Continuous Lateral Rotational Therapy (CLRT) as a method of positioning treatment, advocated for the prevention and management of respiratory complications in critically ill patients with low mobility.

The Thera-Turn can laterally rotate a patient up to a 40° angle in eash direction over an adjustable time frame, enhancing patient therapy and comfort. Coupled with True Low Air Loss, this system constantly forces streams of air through micrp pores thus cooling and drying the body.
