The Thera-Turn is designed to aid in the treatment and prevention of nosocomial pneumonia, atelectasis, oedema and pulmonary embolism among other respiratory complications, typically utilised in intensive care units but can be used in all settings. It performs Continuous Lateral Rotational Therapy (CLRT) as a method of positioning treatment, advocated for the prevention and management of respiratory complications in critically ill patients with low mobility. Concave Positioning Cover
A valuable accessory to any of the Premium Digital 8 and Premium Digital 5 or Slimline 3 products, the customised Concave Positioning Cover assists in the prevention of users rolling against side rails or falling off the bed. The foam sections are modular and can be removed to enable patient transfer as well as conform to profiling beds with head raises and knee breaks. All the Concave Positioning Cover's components are heat sealed making it impermeable to fluids for maximum infection control. |
